Abstract

Malaria is an infectious disease caused by protozoan parasites from the genus Plasmodium. Of the 96 respondents at Public Health Pasar Ikan of Bengkulu City there were 49 people (51%) who had positive malaria and 47 people (49%) negative malaria. Sanitation and prevention efforts affect the increase of malaria, if the community has less environmental sanitation and prevention efforts, the likelihood of malaria is getting higher. This study aims to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and prevention efforts with the incidence of malaria at Public Health Center Pasar Ikan of Bengkulu City in 2018.
