Abstract

The effort of Maternal Mortality Rate can be done by guarantying every single mother can access health service for pregnant woman. According to Health Department in north Bengkulu in 2016, the lowest ANC visit is at TanjungHarapan Public Health (72%). This research purpose is to find out which factor affect pregnant woman behaviour in visiting Antenatal Care (ANC) at Tanjung Harapan Public Health north Bengkulu in 2018. This research is analytic research and use cross sectional design with 58 respondents taken by using total sampling technique. Data are collected by distributing questionnaire on pregnant woman tri-semester period. Univariate and bivariate analysis in analysing data by using chi-square analysis. Univariate analysis shows that there are 46,6% respondents have unfavourable act, 34,5% have less support from family, 32,8% respondents have low social economic and 43,1% respondents haven’t visited Antenatal Care visit regularly. Chi-square analysis shows that there is a correlation between social-economic, behaviour, family support with pregnant woman in visiting Antenatal Care (ANC) at TanjungHarapan Public Health north Bengkulu in 2018 (p < 0,05). To all public health personnel, it is expected that they can improve family role in controlling the pregnancy by giving understanding t family about the benefits so the pregnancy is safe.
