Abstract

Optimal growth is human right, growth is not just monitoring nutrient status and disease but also the good environment internally and externally. Children growth start from physical growth, intellectual and emotional. Rapid children growth is at age 3-5 years old, at age 3 years old, children can speak a thousand words and understand the meaning and in next 2 years they will understand words 2 times and, in the end, they will try to find out everything (Susilaningrum, 2010). This research is a descriptive analytic research. This research tried to collect information about correlation between gestation age, birth weight and exclusive breastmilk with age of five children growth at Sukarami Public Health Bengkulu Tengah in 2018. Sample are taken by using accidental sampling which means sample were not decided yet, researcher collect the data directly from 82 sampling unit.This research result shows that correlation gestation age (p=0,000), birth weight (p=0,000), and exclusive breastmilk (p=0,000) with children growth at age of five at Sukarami Public Health Bengkulu Tengah in 2018.Researcher expects that this research can be useful for Public health as source of additional information about correlation between gestation age, birth weight and exclusive breastmilk with age of five children growth at Sukarami public health Bengkulu Tengah in 2018.
