Abstract

According to Ministry of Health RI in Indonesia in 2016 there is 15.3% labor done through operation. The highest provinces with caesarea sectio surgery were DKI Jakarta (27.2%), Riau Islands (24.7%), and West Sumatra (23.1%). The objective of this study was to determine the factors related to the intensity of pain in postoperative patients sectio caesarea in RSUD dr. M. Yunus bengkulu in 2018. This research is an analytical research using cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all patients in 2017 sectio caesarea which amounted to 244 people with a sample of 30 respondents taken with accidental sampling technique. Data collection was done with primary and secondary data, the data obtained were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. More than half of respondents, experiencing severe pain, more than half of respondents, aged> 25 years, over half respondent, severe anxiety, more half-repondent, coping mechanisms, age-related, anxiety and coping mechanisms with pain intensity in patients post operative sectio caesarea at RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu in 2018 To the institute of RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu in the expected to improve the existing services, especially on pain management in postoperative patients SC with combine between pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy.
